The Sri Lankan-specific food composition database (FCDB) was developed under project CoTaSS 3 (Colombo Twin and Singleton Study 3). This project was funded by Medical Research Council of the United Kingdom (MRC UK).
This FCDB consists of 243 ready-to-eat food items which are frequently being consumed by Sri Lankans.
